Why we need donations

  • 💻 Administrative Services – Website hosting, communications, brochures, etc. As we grow (and to help us grow), we will need paid staff.
  • 🌱 Seed Money for Mini-Grants – To bridge the gap while awaiting reimbursement from the Virginia Department of Forestry.
  • 📚 Training Program Development – For landscape professionals and community leaders.

Other ways to support our trees

Are you 70½ years or older? An IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) might be an option.

If you are 70½ years or older, you can give directly from your individual retirement account (IRA). You may give up to a certain amount per person each year without incurring income tax on your withdrawal. These QCDs may also satisfy your required minimum distribution depending on your age.
